Following is an email from Scott Schoeneman,

Director of Operations – NeighborWorks Green Bay

Workcamp Volunteers,

I wanted to email and ask that some – or hopefully all of you are able to pencil in a date for the NeighborWorks Green Bay Annual Meeting.  It will be Thursday October 29th from 5-8pm with program at 6pm.  It will be at the newly opened “Backstage” attached to the Meyer Theater.  Our organization holds this meeting to vote in new board members and extend the terms of others.  Beyond some business, we recognize business partners and people within the community who have made a difference.  This is typically in line with our affordable housing mission statement.  There are 5 awards and the most esteemed is called the “Community Builder Award.”  Last year it went to the CFO of Associated Bank who coordinated the donation of a $1.4 million office building to us to in-turn offer affordable office space to other non-profit groups.

This year, we’d like to recognize the Trinity/Resurrection Workcamp volunteer group for this award.  65 homes with substantial improvements is no small feat!

I’m sure I’m missing someone from the team.  If so, please let me know and I’ll extend the same invitation.  For now, please save the date and I’ll be back in touch.

Thank you,

Scott Schoeneman
